The scenic Lake Tahoe Basin attracts 15 million visitors annually for recreation in its forests and ski resorts. Partners are studying wildlife distribution and movement patterns across the Basin to inform in protection and connectivity improvement measures for a range of species including black bears, bobcats, coyotes, porcupines, deer, beavers, squirrels, and many others.
