Critter Creek Wildlife Station, Sand Creek Road, Yokuts Valley, CA, USA
Critter Creek Wildlife Station is a non-profit rehabilitation center for wildlife. Three years ago, Billy the Bobcat was hit by a car on Highway 140 by a Yosemite National Park visitor. Luckily, a neighbor called Beth and she brought Billy to Critter Creek where they were able to save his life. Though Billy could not be re-released into the wild due to a lifesaving leg amputation, he continues to live at Critter Creek and serves as an example of the many animals affected by roads.
